I have mychoice. Samsung locked it down good! only lets you drop off at a neigbors. Dumb it won't let it be held at a UPS store or UPS hub. They check ID anyway. Hell a driver could deliver to the wrong house and the person signs for it.

The part that really grinds my gears is that Samsung is so inaccurate with shipping dates.

Since getting a new phone only comes up every 1-2 years, it's not unreasonable to give up a day of vacation time to be home, but with Samsung you don't know which day is going to be! I'm in a professional role with my organization and it's highly frowned upon to be calling off last minute. I'd rather save that for actual emergencies.

Ah to hell with it. I just paid the $20. In the end, it's worth the peace of mind.

But since I've covered all my bases now, setting up Delivery Manager (FedEx) and My Choice Premium, the package won't require signature and it will be delivered long after I get home from work making all these precautions pointless.

Same here, scanned in at DFW @ 4:49 PM yesterday and I'm in Northern Virginia with ET tomorrow between 12:45 -4:45 pm. I'm retired so it's no biggie. As a matter of fact, I didn't place the order until Monday 1/22, so I was quite surprised when I got a shipping notification yesterday. (S24+ Violet Titanium) I was considering pulling the plug, but Samsung beat me to it.

So I'm in the UK. I pre-ordered same day they had the unpacking. I had an email from Samsung saying use this code to get £50 off. The code also gave me an anti-reflecting screen protector, and a vegan leather case. Along with the free Galaxy Watch 6 and the upgrade from 256gb 512gb , I think I've done well . Phone arrived yesterday 24th Jan (I thought it would be today). In the end with the trade in I paid £599 for it. I've now moved all my stuff from my flip5 to this and will send through my S23 Ultra for trade in. I never thought I would go back to a slab phone but the camera is so much better. The colour I chose was Titanium Grey.

Why then has it gotten seemingly stuck at the origin scan location of DFW Airport? Strange. Wonder if it really will arrive tomorrow? Or will it show a delay later?

Received email from Samsung (1TB w/exclusive color) at 6am yesterday morning it has been shipped, then message from UPS at 130pm that label was created but no action since.... says estimated delivery between 3pm -5pm Jan 26 to Chicago but not sure about that now since no action since label created and I dont think 2nd day air delivers on Saturdays

There won’t be weekend delivery since that’s a separate service and Samsung isn’t shipping with weekend delivery. It’s either Friday or Monday. It’s weekday deliveries only.

But I have so many UPS 2 day air packages that don’t have scan until previous night and delivers as originally scheduled. So you are fine for Friday delivery as long as it scans by midnight tonight. It only takes a few hours to get from Dallas to any local destination sort facility in the country.

I live about 3.5 hours away from the warehouse where these things are being shipped out (depending on traffic). I received an email from UPS stating they have to reschedule???? It shipped yesterday...it should have ARRIVED YESTERDAY!!!!!!!
How is it that an item supposedly shipped out by 2ND DAY AIR yesterday has not yet been received by UPS when I am ONLY a few hours away????
On top of that....why 2ND day air when a truck can carry the package here in a few hours? So did they fly it from Dallas to Houston???? WHY?????????
Just put it on a stupid truck and get it here already!
And while the email says it will be rescheduled...the actual tracking on UPS still says it is scheduled to be delivered today?????
Clearly the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing!
Can anyone explain this ridiculous delivery crap?????
