When away from home and using samsung s6 edge i am only showing 3g usage not 4. Any help please

I exchanged my s3 for s6 edge and transfered sim card. I now only get 3g when using phone away from home or other wifi point. Is it because i swapped sim card or is there a problem with the phone.

Welcome to Android Central!

Try going in to your settings, mobile networks, network mode, depending on where you are select LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connet). That should fix you up if that is the issue.
