When / How will this phone get updates?

I've been a Nexus fan because of timely updates. If you get the unlocked version from HTC, how are updates delivered? Any thoughts on how this will work?

If it's like the A9, usually 15 days after the Nexus devices get them. HTC had been incredibly consistent about keeping the unlocked A9 updated. It was the first non Nexus phone to get 6.0 and 6.0.1

If you buy the unlocked/unbranded version expect within 30 days if everything goes fine. They have been good pushing the updates quick to unlocked HTC A9.
If you buy a carrier branded HTC 10 device

HTC has been great at updating the unlocked A9. I'm hopeful that track record will continue with the 10.
