When I answer phone calls on my Samsung Galaxy S4, how can I stop my cheek from hanging up the call?

When i answer phone calls on my Samsung Galaxy S4.

If my cheek slightly touches the screen it hangs up the call or it presses numbers in their ear. What can I do to stop this?

Welcome to Android Central! The screen usually turns off in a call if you hold it up to your ear, due to the proximity sensor's activation. Does that not happen? Some phones allow you to turn the proximity sensor on or off during calls--check your Call Settings to see if you have this option.
