When I flash different roms my phone seems to be creating new "0" directories. (Shown below)

How can I clean this up without loosing root or important files my current rom may be using? I have a recent nandroid backup of samsung's stock rooted firmware and will be flashing a new rom later this week, so I am not afraid of loosing any app data!

Thanks in advance for your time!

I noticed that as well. What I did was pulled all the extra files off my phone and went through one by one making sure all the duplicate files had all the same folders, then deleted them. I only had one extra folder so mine wasn't so bad. I have no idea what causes this, other than something embedded to be another way to show we have modified our devices.

Tired of explaining this issue, wish Google fixed it, anyway, just copy the stuff you need, meaning your app backups, nandroid, etc, and put it in the sd card directory your phone is currently using, then delete the 0 folder and the legacy folder, and you're done

What recovery and version number are you on? I think this was fixed in the new builds. I know twrp is on 2.5.0

Just give twrp a shot, you must be on cwm if you are having this issue. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29640195
