When I get called, and my phone is connected to my car via bluetooth, it goes straight to voicemail.

I'm still able to make phone calls from my car. However, it won't ring when I get incoming calls while the phone is on and connected to the car.

Which phone and vehicle? Have you tried to unpair and pair again? Just reboot the phone before repairing.
