When I replace the digitizer do I need to replace the LCD as well?

when i replace the digitizer do i need to replace the LCD as well????

Ok so the glass inst broken and has never been broken but a section of the screen doesn't work, its not blacked out or anything it just simply wont let me select anything, the rest of the screen work just the middle section doesn't. So i need to know if i relaxed the digitizer do i need to get a new LCD as well or will just the digitizer fix it? Please help!!!

I don't think you need to but it may prove difficult to separate the digitiser from the rest of the screen assembly.

Thankyou ill have a look to see if it will be to difficult to separate the two and if it is ill just replace the whole thing
