When I text a picture on my S9plus it blows it up automatically. How do I fix this? Thank you

It post the normal picture but right after it comes up with a massively blown up version that is the only thing the recipient receives.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using Facebook Messenger, or the stock Samsung messaging app? Users have been reporting issues with FB Messenger recently, with attached photos turning into a zoomed-in crop of a corner of the photo. Is that what's happening to you as well?
