when i unlock my screen it takes ages for my home screen to load

So the other night i was looking at my settings and now when i unlock my screen it fades really slowly to my home screen am still able to see my lock screen picture and my key pad is doing the same fading in when i use it instead of just appearing its really anoying cause i have to wait to use my home screen please help i want my lock system back to what it was, unlock and the home page is there instead of waiting around

Hi, welcome to the forums! Which device do you have? Did you change any lock screen settings? Do you have any third party app to custom your lock screen? Does the problem persist after a reboot?
