When is Pie supposed to hit the SM-960U1?

I've got an unlocked too...but i'm willing to wait...One, I don't want the ATT bloatware, which is why i went with the unlocked version....TWO....there are gonna be initial bugs and glitches, so hopefully by the time it rolls out for the Unlocked ones...there will be patches to fix any bugs/glitches. I'm just gonna sit back and read about all the initial issues.

I dont want to disappoint you but whatever everyone else is getting with pie so will the unlocked.. so meaning if they have issues so will the unlocked until the next update .

I'm on pie, after beta went back to oreo then att dropped it and I'm on it.
Those 2 carriers been slow rollout but in the coming weeks or days should be available

Overall, do you prefer pie over Oreo? How's battery life?

I prefer pie , battery life was better for me on oreo but I was on unlocked firmware or tmobile...I'm getting 1.5 days with 7 to 8 hrs SOT. On oreo builds was 2 days and 10 SOT
But on oreo I was never on Att firmware.

Question: If all the carriers have the same ver of pie. That is, they are not modifying the code. Why would they not all drop at the same time?

That's good question, I guess carriers want to do their own testing . If they found a bug then they have to go back to Samsung and try find the solution and its gets thrown back to carrier to test again. But usually carriers release within a week of each other.

But makes no sense that Samsung hasn't released it for unlocked models.

Carriers first ...they represent more of the buyers then unlocked

Not being a fan of updates of any kind (still am using my S5). This is all the more reason to wait till all carriers have had at before I update my unlocked Note 9. I look at what's out now as a beta+. I can wait for true release.
