My bad, I was downloading straight to phone. I try the computer and report later.
You can download from phone as well but don't open the file, just rename and move to SD card.

Good to hear! Is the compass working properly for you?
Sorry to hear that. What happens if you try to get real-time driving or walking directions? I've seen reports that Google Maps navigation stops working after a few minutes and insists that you have to calibrate the compass (which then doesn't help), even though it could in principle just rely on the GPS.I don't believe so, no.

I've updated to Pie with my T-Mobile Note9 and I've driven for hours in Google Maps and also in Android Auto with no issues at all.
Good, so the impact of the defect is limited. Thanks for the info!It worked just fine. Gave me a 'compass calibrated' message, but other than that no issues.

I flashed over to tmobile Arl1 did the sd card to pie , everything works
Finally got it to work. Thanks for the follow up. Once the update comes from t-mobile what then?
Your welcome
When tmobile pushes the update you will be up to date .
Dont be alarm by hitting the software update button and gives message current software is not supported because it's not in their system yet because they didn't release it .
Edit:
Weird. Mine says up to date when I do that on pie
good news tmobile note 9 users
it's in testing phase ...should be any day the release
Doesn't the testing phase usually take a week or two?
Testing usually means its soon ready to roll out
My guess is when they announce the S10 or when they announce the pre-orders. That'll be a good time to have them roll out the update.
Lol..
I think before this week is up
