When is TMobile getting pie ??

I don't believe so, no.
Sorry to hear that. What happens if you try to get real-time driving or walking directions? I've seen reports that Google Maps navigation stops working after a few minutes and insists that you have to calibrate the compass (which then doesn't help), even though it could in principle just rely on the GPS.

I've updated to Pie with my T-Mobile Note9 and I've driven for hours in Google Maps and also in Android Auto with no issues at all.

It worked just fine. Gave me a 'compass calibrated' message, but other than that no issues.

Finally got it to work. Thanks for the follow up. Once the update comes from t-mobile what then?

Your welcome
When tmobile pushes the update you will be up to date .
Dont be alarm by hitting the software update button and gives message current software is not supported because it's not in their system yet because they didn't release it .

Edit:
