When People call me I just want to see their numbers, not their names.

It may seem like a weird request, but only when someone calls on the call screen I want to remove caller names.
I don't want it removed completely even when I want to call them back.
But I just want to not know who's on the other line, when I'm picking up!
Is there an option? Or an app for this?

If the caller is not one of your contacts, you typically won't see a name, unless it's a business and your phone app is displaying the results of a lookup.

I want to improve my memory, play the guessing who's on the other line... with my contact list...

I guess the only way is to remove all my contacts... there is no way to differentiate between the call page and contacts page ...

I admit that's the first time I heard someone not wanting to see who's calling name but as a guess :

Have your tried just having their phone number as their name on the contacts page instead of their name ?
So just the number shows and not the name on calls you receive.

If you want to make sure of the person your calling. If needed you could always have their name in the notes of that contact .

That's a creative idea ... no I hadn't thought about it !

Yeah I just gave it a go, and it seems like if I add the names as the company name instead, it still comes up with a search on contacts list !

It just takes so much time to change all the contacts one by one !
