When Samsung S9+ is in full screen mode the back button does not work.

Apps can be set to full screen or not. But, for instance, if Chrome is set to full screen you can swipe down to get the All Apps button, Home Button and Back button, but tapping on the latter has no effect. Changing the display mode out of full screen, so those three buttons are always on display, is OK - the back button takes you back to the previous web page. This is a pain as it is easy to hit the area to go to full screen. But why should the back button not work in either mode?

1st, clear the cache partition and reboot. Additionally, have you used the 'turn off touch' feature for any part of the screen? Do you have a screen protector lifting up at the bottom? Good luck.
