When using my Quick Circle Cover it doesn't fit in my car holder, is that the cases fault?

Quick Circle Cover

Everytime I flip the cover behind the G3 the clock appears and takes over the screen.
I can not use the G3 in my car holder.
Is that a case fault or a system definition ?
