When will Verizon be getting something like a MyTouch 4G?

I'm worried the Thunderbolt is just too bulky. When will Verizon have a smaller HTC 4G phone?

The thunderbolt is essentially the MT4G. You won't get something really really slim as a LTE phone (at least initially). This is because the LTE radio (like the wimax one) is a lot larger than current 3g radio's, including Tmobiles "4g" one.

But as far as specs go, the Thunderbolt is the close competitor. (the MT4G and Bolt are all variants of the DesireHD)

Okay, so basically you guys are saying that there won't be a pocketable 4G LTE phone for a while because the chipset hasn't been miniaturized yet?

essentially. If there is, it will be giving up some other feature. Either a smaller batter, or smaller screen (though I think the screen size is there to make the devices as thin as possible. Smaller screen is thicker phone).

That being said, I don't have to worry about pocketable. One of the benefits of having to wear slacks for work.. even a Tab fits.

I guess I didn't literally mean pocketable...the Thunderbolt or EVO 4G would fit in my pocket...they're just big and heavy enough to be a little uncomfortable and ungainly. And you don't even get any extra screen resolution for the larger screen (it's still 800 x 480). I guess if I want smaller, I'm going to have to switch to another carrier that just has "4G" (not true 4G LTE), like T-Mobile.
