No, I'm not looking to pirate anything and really only interested in the free ones that I might be able to tweak to run on my BB10 device. So, are the apk files saved or stored in a folder after downloaded and installed. In the past, a friend with an Android phone would be able to send them to me so I guess they are on the device somewhere????

Thanks in advance.

Apks are stored in the system cache partition, which is not normally accessible. Not sure if there's a way to access them if you're rooted.

Straying a bit from my initial question.... What would "rooting" provide for the Tab S over its native state? I guess maybe I could look around for that cache but what else. I know I've heard the term over and over and read those who bemoan the fact that we canNOT root BB devices, particularly the Playbook. And I know folks do it to Android and Apple(?) devices.
