Whenever on whatsapp i leave the app and it mutes whatever call im on.

[Android Central Question]

I've been having this problem for a while now. I'd go onto whatsapp and join a voice call, everything will run smoothly until I leave the app and then I get told the other person at the end of the call cannot hear me. It happens all the time. The app has all permissions accepted, it is not on sleep or any setting that could mess around with the app. Hope someone could help.
