Where and when will Verizon get the G5 Plus 64GB

Son dropped his LG G3 in a puddle and it drowned.. I was just about to buy a Moto Z Play but was informed of their forum to wait to get my son the G5 Plus..

Why but a Verizon G5? Just buy an unlocked one from Amazon and pop in the sim from the old phone. This assumes the old sim still works.

I buy from Verizon for their insurance.. I know it's high at $10/mos but if software or hardware bugs can get a fru device if necessary.

Ok. Personally I avoid Verizon's phones because of the bloatware. I don't know if Verizon will carry the G5 or not.

A $300 phone to me with a dectubale is hardly worth insuring.
Bought mine from Best Buy they have a one time fee for insurance that I declined

I could order through Motorola or Best Buy.. For the price of this I could a kid insurance but since it will be a teenager using it I have to have backup protection

I picked up my G5 Plus 64GB tonight at Best Buy to find out they won't stock cases for it because it is not popular enough.. So I came home and ordered a case and screen protector from Amazon. I won't try and connect it to Verizon until I have a valid case for it in case my teenager drops it like his other one that is hanging on for its life

I see you bought already from Best Buy, but another (and probably better) option would have been to buy from Motorola directly. 2 years moto care $59.99, 15 months $39.99.

Originally I was getting it for instant use but I have the old phone working temporarily especially since they didn't have any case. . So I didn't activate this since I had double eye surgery last Monday. Today is first day I can try and see but yesterday was last day of 2 week hassle free return so I am stuck with it.
