Where are my files after filling out a PDF using Write on PDF app in my S8+?

[Android Central Question]

When I get emailed a PDF from a client, usually a W9 form, I open the file/form using the native Write On PDF app and when I finish I hit the save option and the app closes.
You can't open the app because it's hidden, default and when I search My Files or Explorer file app, under the Write on PDF folder the W9 file is there but its blank.
I try starting the return email to the sender, in Gmail, click on attach file, search everywhere and the filled out file is nowhere to be found.
I try opening every other PDF fill out app and PDF reader app I have, which is about five because each one has some flaw that others don't so you need a quiver of PDF apps to solve any problems.
But, where the Hell are the filled out files being saved?
