Where are my Pics Going? (bluetooth)

I was swinging along great, transferring via bluetooth a bunch of pics onto my phone.
But I noticed that while the phone indicated it accepted all of them, I can't fine about 25% of them.
I'm not talking that many and most are not large files. The ones that did transfer smoothly went into my Galary.
Any ideas where the others are? It even shows in the pull down menu the names of the pics (with Galary icon next each)-- but when I press on them, its says I can't open.

Figured it out -- phone doesn't accept .tiff files. When I converted the photos to jpegs -- they dropped into the Galary just fine.
