Ugh.. I'm dying to change my Classic 4Gs band to metal... But I cannot find any anywhere! (Black).

All the bands on Amazon specifically list they will not fit this model.

Anyone have any luck?

Yep. I tried one of the loop metal bands. The problem is the part that connect to the watch flares out so that it stops the pins from engaging. The pins just miss the holes. I brought this up withe vendor and hope they can fix the problem.

I don't know what the band difference is, I have the non 3G version, but I got mine at Best Buy.

There is a difference in the cases for the 3g and non 3g versions. The metal loop bands will work on the non 3g version but not the 3g version.

Bumping this thread. Just got my Verizon classic s2 and I want a metal band ASAP. Every one I've come across on amazon specifically say not for 3g/4g model.

So an update.. .just got this band today:

Amazon.com: 20mm Stainless Steel Butterfly Buckle Link Watch Band For Pebble Time Round 20MM 2015, Samsung Gear S2 Classic SM-R7320 (YESOO Retail Packaging - 180 Days Warranty) (Link Black): Cell Phones & Accessories

and while one side was a really tight fit... it looks great and feels great... I recommend it...but just remember...a tight fit initially.
When you say really tight fit, what exactly do you mean. Just getting the pins in? I don't want to do anything that will take the finish off of the watch

For the loop watch bands the problem is the way the band connects. If you look at the photo the distance between points A and B is not enough to allow the pins to reach the pin holes. This is due to the fact that the 3g version is thicker than the non 3g versions. If the manufacturer were to increase the length of this part of the connection it would work.

Most other watch bands the connection point is 20mm as is the rest of the connector so there is no problem. It is that part that juts out that is causing the loop bands to fail.
