Best Buy for no mail in rebates, easy return policy, and reward zone points.

Sent from my HTC EVO 4G

I pre-ordered mine at Sprint a week ago in the Bay Area, CA. The rep told me that the gift card is non refundable but can be used for anything Sprint sells and it does not expire. That's almost no risk. I like getting mine at Sprint because of the 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Does anyone here recommend getting the stolen/broken insurance through Sprint? If not, any recommendations? Thanks.

Are you saying that Sprint will not honor the 30 day satisfaction guarantee policy if I purchase my phone from BB?

Best Buy, because no mail in rebates, pre order, and best of all a super easy policy of 30 day price matching, I went back 4 times on my Evo Shift, hell you can even get em now for 59.99 from walmart, Best Buy will match it up.

Radio Shack. I was the first to pre-order. No mail-in rebates. I hate going through Sprint stores and I haven't set foot in a Best Buy in I don't know how many years. Not even sure where the nearest one is to me.

I do Sprint cause I can bill my account. I hope they still have instant rebate when I get mine. But if I sell my EVO for cash then I guess it wont matter where I get it from but I normally do Sprint.

Sprint.com. I feel more secure in buying from the company itself. Exchange and such is quite feasible.

Two reasons. 1-No Rebates...I love that I can walk in the door, get what I want, and not worry about filling out 20 forms and getting the money back 3-6 months later. 2-Gift cards...I have about $50 saved up in Best Buy gift cards from the Shopkicker program I use on my current android device.

Well, looks like I'll be getting it at Best Buy. I put my $50 down today. Hope it doesn't disappoint, or else I'll grab myself a nexus s =)

Amazon will be interesting to watch. No sales tax and if they undercut the price like they did with the Thunderbolt then Amazon it is.

I am torn where to buy... I usually go with Best Buy, but how do you pass up the Green Hornet 3D movie, and more importantly, the exclusive Black Eyed Peas mp3 that RadioShack is offering???

:-\

I pre-ordered my EVO 4G at Best Buy, but was able to walk into a Radio Shack near my house on the morning of the release date, and pick one up with no pre-order. They also activated my EVO as quickly as I have ever had a phone activated at a Sprint store. I have already pre-ordered my EVO 3D from the same Radio Shack (just in case ;)).

Sprint. . . . they are forcing me to order through telesales on launchday since they are overriding my upgrade

I had a pre-order at BestBuy, but am probably going to burn that. I ordered from Amazon for $179, and I also avoided the activation fee of $18 and sales tax of $16

saving $54 made my choice for me

Amazon because off contract is $470. No tax, free 2 day shipping. I have to wait an extra few days, but pretty cheap for the 3D in my opinion.
I'm holding off renewing contracts with Sprint because its an affiliate market and I don't want my multi-phone account locked in for another 2 years.

For those getting it from Amazon, what is their usual ship time for phones? And will it be shipped on the 24th?
