So im doing the ADB root method with command prompts,

I have downloaded the file, saved it to my desktop.

Unzipped it to my desktop.

The ADB file I see in the Youtube video is a folder, mine doesnt look like a folder. Infact, its not a folder.

Its more like a file.

Either way.. the video tells me to drop it on my C folder. Done.

Its in there, I open up a command prompt and it says C:\Users\Danny. Then it tells me to type in CD. Done. It says I should now see C:\. I dont.

When I type that in it just pops up C;\Users\Danny

Even if I type in CD adb it says the path can not be specified?

Please help :(

Try typing cd.. twice in the command prompt to get you to the C:/ directory

TRUE PermaRoot and the ULTIMATE S=Off!!! Check this out even if you're rooted!!! - xda-developers

This is an easier way to root your phone.
Just download the visionary app and run to gain TEMP root first. Then get a file explorer and terminal emulator from the market and move the gfree file to data local and then follow the rest of the steps.

visionary.apk <--------Visionary.apk

2nd that. I legit did not require a computer to root mine, only to download the files, which of course I could have done on the phone as well.
