Where did my podcast player go?

My phone updated this weekend. I usually download a podcast from the persons' website and listen to it when I can. Before the update, I could choose which player to use. I think it was called My Music. It came with the phone when I bought it. When it went into sleep mode, I could wake it and pause/play without unlocking the phone. I could also play a game or search the web while it was still playing. NOW, I don't have a choice when I play the podcast. And I can't do all the things I could do with the old player. Can anyone help me out with this? Thank you in advance!

Motorola's My Music app was eliminated with the Jellybean update, along with some other Moto apps. I'd suggest looking for a third party podcast player among the many you can find on Google Play.

Thanks for the reply! Can you or anyone else tell me how to turn off the default player that came with Jelly Bean? I downloaded Power Amp, but the default comes up automatically and doesn't give me a choice of players like under ICS.

Assuming it's Google Play Music that's launching by default, go to Settings/Apps/All, select Google Play Music, scroll down and tap "Clear Defaults."

Try looking for any app under "Settings/Apps/All" that might be related to playing media, like Gallery or Media. If you can't find anything like that, you can do a universal clear default by going to Settings/Apps, tapping the menu button, and selecting "Reset app preferences."

Ok, I found out that the podfuse thing is what the website uses. It never did that before the update. It would let me choose which player to use.
