Where did my screen recorder go?

In the area where you have the buttons for WiFi, mobile data, auto rotate, location etc. There was an option to begin recording your screen. I was recording yesterday and when I looked for the button it had disappeared, along with the do not disturb button. Anyone know how to get them back?

Welcome to the forums. What phone do you have? You can try this, open the quick settings panel, search for a pencil/edit icon and tap it, search for the screen recorder icon, hold and drag it to add the tile. Tell us how it goes.

Update: the screen recorder is still gone. I got do not disturb back though, which is nice

Yeah I've tried those. Holding volume up and power just turns up volume and double knuckle tap results in nothing

From what I've seen online power button and volume up button hold at same time brings screen record

Yes, I've done that, it doesn't do anything
