Where did older calendar entries go?

I like to have all my old calendar entries available. They were on my Note 5 but now I'm not getting them on my Note 9. I checked settings I didn't find anything to be sure that old ones sync properly. Am I missing something? Thanks

I tried to sync my calendars; I got a message telling me I can't sync calendars while power saving mode is on. After I turned off power saving mode I was able to sync my calendars and view older entries.

I only have entries back to late Aug 2017...i had years back before.

This has been driving me crazy for some time. I think it was the Note 7 that first only showed two years. Then the Notes 8 & 9 only one. The Notes 3, 4 and 5 showed all years. I finally found the app Calengoo. It syncs back as far as I've had an Android phone (2013). It also has a ridiculous amount of customizations, lol!

I'm not sure if you've already tried Samsung cloud to sync previous years / devices entries: settings, cloud and accounts, Samsung cloud, and scroll down to calendar.

Of course, totally irrelevant if there is a time limitation, eh

Lol, I just went to Samsung calendar, search, and entered 2010, and after some time the 2010 entries popped up.

In 2010 I was using my blackberry 9700, that is, a pre Android device.

So it seems that when I've changed from my bb priv in 2017 to the note 8, and brought across calendar etc, all my bb calendar entries came across, pre Android included. I dare say my 2008 calendar entries are there too

I mainly rely on my Google account as I cross platform with my iPad.

I have Calengoo synced to the gmail email that I have attached to all things Google.
