Where did voice to text ability go?

Why does my Samsung Galaxy S8 NOT have a voice to text option when I use Messenger + and/or Facebook Messenger???

Mines do. If you hold down the key it has various options.

Maybe he has bixby but didn't enable it. I disabled bixby and am back in business with Google. See here...
