lol. Welcome to the Infuse Forum. Not much going on in here these days since Gingerbread isnt out yet for the Infuse. And also everyones jumping into Googl+ which is taking a lot of the forums fame away, just for the moment.
I'm a noob to Android and I'm scared of bricking my Infuse, how hard was installing the Infuse ROM?You will love your Infuse. I come from an iPhone 4, before that an iPhone 3Gs, etc. I got to admit, at first I was hesitant, the first few days I carried both phones, now into my third week with the Infuse and I won't look back.
I got the nerve to root, then I flashed Infused and I love my phone more each day. You will too.

Thanks for the link. So will I lose all of the apps/data that I currently have? I have backed everything up with Titanium, so can I restore it from that????It was extremely easy, just a lot of steps. you could find detailed instructions and videos here: [ROM] Infused v1.5.2 - (07/13/11) - New experimental addon! - xda-developers. Let us know how it goes, you'll be glad you Infused.

ok... so where do i find to attach a ringtone to a contact for sms?
Open the native messaging app, hit the permanent menu key (along the bottom), go to settings, U'll find it from there
It's odd because one would expect it to be with the rest of the sound settings, but its not. I would've never guessed where it was, if it wasn't for some youtuber pointing out that the option to turn off email notification was similarily placed.
This is to only set one sms tone. I'm wanting to set a different SMS Tone for a few contacts...
Yea, the only way I've found to assign individual tones to separate contacts is to download a pack of tones, open that app, tap one of the tones and its listed as an option. Search for "funny ringtones" in the market. I know each of the sounds in that app are assignable to individual contacts.
