Is it better to buy on line, carrier store, Amazon, Best Buy, Sams or other third party store? Sams rep claims no activation fee. BB claims better warranty. Verizon is showing me no loyalty love & has the same contract price so who do you love? (T-Mo and Sprint out due to a rural area for me) Have heard only way to keep unlimited is via Verizon on line vs. store?????

My brain hurts - coming from Droid X to Note 3

Which way are you buying and why?

It depends on where I get it fastest and cheapest. I've bought from carrier stores, Best Buy, and Amazon. Whichever is the best fast/cheap ratio is generally the best idea. Also, never discount buying used stuff from Swappa. Sometimes you get a great deal on a device that hasn't been used that long and has been taken care of really well.

Costco. 90 day return/exchange policy.

Wow - had no idea they had that long of a return policy. May have to join Costco for that one.

Costco is great for electronics. They often bundle things (for example, DSLRs with lenses, cases, tripod, etc.) for several hundred dollars off the typical combined retail price of the items. They also have a fantastic warranty program that covers cameras, mobile devices, and computers.

Plus the cheap, member-only gas at the warehouses.
