Where have my games disappeared to?

Hello, I own a galaxy s7 edge on tmobile. Ive owned the phone for well over a year now and was accustomed most to android 7. Recently on July 5th I received the update to 8.0. While I mostly am nothing but impressed with the cleaned up experience with new short cuts, I just ran into my first issue: Samsung's Game Launcher. When I went to play a game I noticed that the one I wanted to play and two others were missing from my personal game folder. Also missing from the app drawer. Some remained however, in both places. That's when I remembered my past troubles with game launcher. I went into the app and disabled the hide apps setting, and removed those shortcuts from game launcher. However those games are now STILL missing, with the setting disabled. The only place I can find them is in the phone search, but not in the app drawer nor my home screen. I tried to explore the setting of hiding apps from the app drawer specifically, but there were no apps to uncheck. Lastly I've attempted restarting my phone to refresh apps, but to no avail. Any help would be tremendous, Samsung won't even let me fully disable game launcher

I'm having the same problem. I can no longer find one of the games I play the most unless I open Google Play, search for it and hit Open. Or I could re-enable Game Launcher which takes several extra seconds to open before I can even get to my game and sometimes speed is of the essence. I want my games back on my home screen.

Much late, but if anyone finds this and has the same issue:
1) Disable Game Launcher per instructions found anywhere
2) Open settings -> Apps -> find Game Launcher
3) Clear data for that

Games should show up in your app drawer and you will be able to add shortcuts to them again.

I need some Help

I can't access my games that I have downloaded and some are older than others, what do I do now ? I don't Ike this new Samsung systam or app because it's also messed up my entire phone Samsung S7, how can I get out of this and cancel it ? I just downloaded a new game and can't find it either

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by "new Samsung system or app"? Did your phone just recently get a system update to a new Android version, or a new version of One UI?
