Is TweetCaster draining my battery?

In TweetCaster for Android you can save battery life by turning off Background Notifications in settings. Select "More" from the menu and then select "Settings." Scroll down and tap "Notifications" and then uncheck the box for Background Notifications. With background notifications turned off, you will no longer be notified of new tweets after exiting TweetCaster.

When I exit TweetCaster for Android, it closes, but I still receive Tweets in the background.

If you do not want the application to retrieve new Tweets after you exit TweetCaster for Android, you need to turn off Background Notifications in settings.
