Hi, all. I'm watching a video about setting up my S24+ and there is a clip about turning on Caller ID and Spam Protection. It's supposedly under Call Settings, below the Block Numbers option, but my phone doesn't have it. I have a U.S Verizon phone. The Software version shows OneUI 6.1 and Android version 14. Any ideas?

It doesn't show up as an option in call settings at all. It should show up as an option where the highlight is in the screenshot.

For caller ID, check under Caller Information. For spam protection, look for the Verizon Call Filter app. If you don't have it, you can get it in the Play Store.

My unlock s24u has it in call settings but Verizon most likely removed it to use their own app

Would flashing the unlocked firmware enable it? I have a factory unlocked device with the unlocked firmware and am using Verizon.

When I had an S10+ from Verizon, I flashed the unlocked firmware to get back the features that Verizon eliminated like Find My Mobile and Call & Text on Other Devices.
I know this is probably old news, but I noticed on the Verizon branded S24+ the call and text on other devices option is there. That missing was the main reason I flashed the unlocked firmware on my Verizon phone. I'm guessing it has to do with Verizon ditching Verizon messages.
