Where is Lookout Mobile Security

I keep getting notified by Google Play to update lookout, yet I can't find the actual app and there is no uninstall option, only update.
It's no where to be found in my Google Play library and nowhere to be found in the settings under apps.
I use Adguard & have no use for this, yet, not only can I not uninstall it, I can't even find it. How can it want updated, if it's not on my phone?
This is really annoying me . If anyone can help thanks.

I got an odd message about Lookout from Google. I use to have it years ago.

Seems like another nass mess up mailing on entire subscriber database. And nothing of it has ever been installed on my phone in two years. Zilch.

Spam email. Phishing. Someone hit the wrong button.

get bk package disabler from google play. load it and do a search for lookout. then disable it. some apps don't show to disable if they have admin rights. you can also go to the play store and search for it. if it's on your n8 it will show up as installed. then refer to sentences 1 & 2.

are you with Sprint? they branded it and I disabled it immediately. last thing I want on my device is more Sprint logos.

I did buy the bk disabler & no luck there either, but, I was finally able to get rid of that damn Flipboard ! Thanks for the ideas

that's right. no uninstall available. you may need to reboot BK Package Disabler or something. I have mine disabled without issue. I even let it update recently just to see if the sprint had gone away. it used to be my go-to. don't give up. it CAN be disabled.

Lookout Mobile Security was one of the first companies that offered location and remote security services to smartphones. I used to use them all the time until Google caught up and started providing the service for free. Here is a link to their website if you are interested.

Now as to why you would get a notification from them to update, is beyond me.
