Where is my sim card

Be careful. There are two holes in the top that are the same size. One is on one end of the sim card/sd card tray. You should be able to make out the tray outline (left side of the top edge), but it is pretty well blended into the body of the phone. There is another hole in the top right. That's the noise-cancelling microphone. Make sure you don't poke a pin into that microphone.

However...

The real question is, why is your sim card "full"?

Full from what?

And what do think taking it out will do?

The sim card is your connection to your carrier. Take it out, and there goes your cell service.

Are you somehow saving contact information to the sim card? You can move it to phone memory, or an account like Google, or Outlook (if you have one... just an option). The sim card is not a good place to save contacts. It was fine back in the flip-phone days when all that was saved was your parent's or significant other's number, and that was it. But it's not sufficient for today's info laden contacts, with addresses, emails, company names, and multiple fields for more than one of each of those items.
