Where is Scam Protection or Scam Shield?

It's part of the T life app. It's no longer a separate app. You just have to open t life app go to your account and there is a section for Scam Shield

Is it the same as #662# dialer code and it's something that integrates with phone when spam calls come in?

I thought Call Screening was very useful on Pixel, but it's nearly useless on Samsung because it doesn't screen spam calls, it screen ALL unknown calls without any options

On the unlocked its run by Google now

I have that, but it doesn't stop from receiving spam calls. I want to block and/or screen spam calls but Block spam is removed from T-Mobile it seems and screening spam is not an option on Samsung for some reason

Yeah after reading a bit I do see that carrier phones have this removed. And I am surprised Call Screening doesn't have option to screen spam calls.....makes no sense to me
Carrier phones probably want to run their own version if I had to guess.

Can anyone else confirm with T-Mobile phone that it's removed and it's not just me who disabled some critical app?

You could try using the Google dialer app. It works fine on my wife's S23 (I have a Pixel). It's not 100%, there are some oddities.

I purchased the phone with call screening, I want my call screening. They can't just remove it

No, you paid for T-Mo to loan you a device that they will dictate to you how it may be used. That is the down side to getting a carrier branded device. besides the options they hide/remove, there is the bloatware they include, in case you're having trouble finding your own apps to install and not use.

In the meantime,
