Where is the coloring feature on my Note 8?

When you pull out the s pen click on add shortcuts and then add it to the wheel.

I had to download it on my TMO device. Samsung folder/Galaxy Apps and download the Coloring app.

Mine did not have coloring either. It is not a app. You cannot get it from any store. After several hours of tech support Verizon is sending a replacement. Sucks after having everything running like I like it. Hoping it won't be a refurb! Probably won't do ever use it but the fact that it didn't come with it installed would have bothered me the whole time I have it!

Your Note is not defective. The Pen-up app has not been updated on your phone. As shown above, the coloring addition to pen-up will be added later this month, or when your pen-up app gets the update pushed.
I cannot believe you would send back your phone over an app update! The official release date has yet to arrive even. WOW!

I got a replacement. Worded the post wrong. Coloring is part of the software embeded with the phone and mine did not have it along with a couple of other people. No biggie I was just annoyed that mine did not come with it. After all of the different tech people could not find it I went to Verizon and the displays had it and all of the employees that had the note 8 had it. I love the phone by the way!

Like I said, your note wasn't defective or missing software. The "Coloring" software is part of PEN-UP. Your Pen-up ap had yet to push the update. Guaranteed.

You have to go to App drawer >Samsung folder>Galaxy apps>3 dots top right>my apps>updates and see if the Pen-up update is there.

If that's the case you should be able to get a job with Verizon, Google, Samsung or the techs that handle android apps because they could not figure it out.

I didn't have the update in that area either but when I went to the galaxy ap i downloaded Pen Up and coloring was on it.

As for the person who traded in the phone...

I am not surprised the people at the phone stores didn't know how to fix it. It is a feature inside an app. They don't work for the app store, just for the phones and the phone software. By exchanging it, all you did was get a phone that has the most recent update of Pen.up that is not available to the public yet. YET.

Google Play Store has the old version, you have to get it from the Galaxy app store I just downloaded and installed it works fine ver 2.7.00.38
