where is the music file stored at on my motorola droid turbo

I can't find the files in the file manger where would they be stored at?

Re: where is the music file stored at on my motorola droid turbo

I use the app ES File Explorer (free in the Google Play store)

Open ES.
Music folder is on the opening screen.

I wrongly removed the SD card from my Razr Maxx prior to moving everything over to my Droid Turbo, so I was stuck transferring my music manually. Using the ES app (which was a life saver in this particular situation) I was able to send my music files to my Turbo via Bluetooth. They were put into the file folder labeled 'bluetooth'. I opened that folder and was then able to move the received files into the Music folder. (I was/am also able to use ES to manage my pictures and photo albums. I no longer have a slew of albums (downloaded, bluetooth, messaging, etc.) which is quite nice. But that is going beyond your question. lol)

Connect your Turbo to your laptop or computer via USB (or Bluetooth I suppose also).
Refer to the image below (note I only have one mp3 on my phone at the moment)
You can drag and drop music from your system to/from your phone.

Where a music file is actually depends on how you got it. If you downloaded it from a website, it could be in your download folder.

Choose a music file name. In ES File Explorer, there's a search function (the magnifying glass). It's very good at finding files anywhere on the phone. Once you've found a music file, you'll know one place you have music files. If there's a file not in that folder, go to the root (/) and do a search for that file.
