Where is the NFC chip located on the N20U?

Using Google Pay with NFC at my most frequented locations, I found at checkout when I hold my phone over the NFC pad it doesn't seem as quick to give me the chime/confirmation that my Note 8 did. It could be I just don't know where the sensor is on the phone and need to get more use to it but wondering if anyone else has noticed the same thing.

With my Note 8, I basically just needed to hover the top inch or two of the phone and not even need to be close to tap to get it to register. Same technique on my N20 yields slower results.

If you look in one of the teardown videos should be able help locate where it is , one example Jerry rigs everything.

Yeah, been using the Pay and bringing the phone closer to the middle of phone to the NFC sensor and reads quickly.

Can anyone tell me where inside Note 20 Ultra is the MST/Samsung Pay? I was wanting to add a pop socket to my case and did not want to cover up this functionality.

Re: Location of Samsung inside phone

That's a good question but I'm wondering if a Popsocket is even able to interfere with it.

I find the Note 20 ultra scans easier than my Note 10+ did, I put my phone to the reader just in line with the bottom of the camera and it scans normally before I get it into position.

Have not had any issue using SP, I didn't see (lag) any difference between Note 10+ and note 20 Ultra

Yeah, Once I figured/guessed where the NFC sensor is somewhere in the middle of phone between the 2nd and 3rd camera and bring that part of the phone to the reader... faster than my Note 8 was every time.

I imagine if the OP puts the pop socket anywhere below the cameras, there should be no issues.
