Where is the setting that allows me to pull down ANYWHERE on the home screen to see notifications?

I saw a youtube video within the last few days that shows how to pull down anywhere on the home screen (not just at the very top of the screen) to be able to see the notifications? I can't find where I saw the video and can't find which setting it is either. Anyone help me here?

After changing whatever setting this is, you pull up anywhere on the home screen and the app list comes up....& you pull down anywhere on the home screen and the notification bar comes down....

They may have been using Nova Launcher. This is a popular thing with that launcher.

Its on Stock Samsung Launcher too
Go to Homescreen settings (hold anywhere on the home screen and see it at the bottom), then you should see the setting there

So here's the deal, my Note 8 is on Touchwiz version 6.1.43.0 and my S8+ is on version 6.1.50.2, you need to be on the later version for that option to show.

Looks like they haven't updated Samsung home on the NO to the latest version. It's on my S8+, but that particular functionality is missing from the Note.

I was just watching the Sakitech video on that earlier. I was bummed I didn't have it. It looks like a really handy feature. I hope there's an update soon.

Wow, I can understand not shipping with oreo but not the latest Samsung software? That's ridiculous.

This is a big reason I've used Adw for many years. Love swiping down from anywhere on the screen.

My AT&T S8+ doesn't have. My touchwiz is actually on an older version than my N8 with no update available.

There was another thread I came across that had an update for TouchWiz that allowed swiping down on the screen to pull down the notification shade. I installed it and it works perfectly. I'll look for the link and post it here when I find it.
