I have the Verizon S22 ultra and I don't have video calling in the dialer app. My wife tried to convert to video calling yesterday from her note 20 ultra and it said video calling not available from me.

At the top of said HD voice. I haven't found a setting yet to turn it on or off.

Video calling in the dialer is only available between Verizon branded devices.

I'm guessing you are on unlocked... If you are, you'll have to use Google Duo or another 3rd party video call app.

No, I have Verizon branded. I got it working. I had to put my wife's SIM card in it, restart the phone, got video call. I swapped back to my card and reset again and now I have have it. In fact it gives me choice no now, Duo or carrier video call.

Mine is now working on Verizon unlocked

Well, the Verizon home grown video calling only works Verizon to Verizon phone (not unlocked)
I moved to unlocked a few years ago, and honestly Duo is better since everyone can use it.

I agree, I think duo works great, but you have to get people to download it.
Doesn't Duo come pre-installed on all recent phones though? Especially with the integration of Duo into the dialer I believe they don't have to download it. On older phones yeah they might have to download.

I have a Verizon locked phone and no video calling anywhere. When I first set up the phone the symbol was on my dialer but now it's gone.

How can I get it back?
