Where to buy & CyanogenMod

My goal is to buy a LG G4 (Unlocked / carrier free / contract free) and hopefully, eventually, install CyanogenMod (if possible). I have never purchased a phone from anyone other than my carrier (AT&T US). Can someone tell me how I could go about purchasing this phone? I am always confused about all of the variants of phones and where to buy them.

Just buy from LGs website. As for installing cm you'll have to wait until a build of cm has been built.
I don't know much about bootloader unlocking with LG so i cant help there

Usually once the phone becomes available, as far as I know either your carrier or Amazon will sell an unlocked version that you can buy. Amazon will usually say that it is unlocked. So far T Mobile has been the most forthcoming with the G4's release, saying that they will have it available sometime in June. AT&T seems to plan on carrying it but they haven't said much yet.
