where to purchase?

After researching and following user feedback I think I'm ready to replace my Bold 9000 with an Atrix. I've held onto my unlimited data plan and obviously will continue to do so. I've always purchased my phones at the ATT store, but am intrigued by ordering from Amazon @ $150 opposed to $200 from the ATT store.

Has anyone had luck ordering from Amazon and simply activating the phone and having everything work as it should; or is ordering and self-activating the phone going to require a trip to the ATT store to have a rep ensure the unlimited data plan sticks with the phone?

Basically trying to decide it $50 is worth a few days of waiting for the phone to arive and the potential hassle of getting unlimited data reinstated on my account.

Advice/thoughts?

$150 at Radio Shack plus you can trade your Bold in for money towards the Atrix. That's what I did for my Atrix.

Got mine at Costco $119. Came with free accessories. Even got the upgrade fee waived.

U can always get it from Costco, and then if they can't keep your unlimited plan at activation just call 611 from your phone and talk to a CS rep and they can reinstate it for you.

car charger, earbuds, and a leather pouch/holder that has a beltclip

Sweet, definitely going there next week for some milk, eggs, bread...Atrix!

By any chance, does anybody know if Costco is the only place that is offering free accessories upon purchase?

Just ordered 2 Atrix's from Amazon for 130 each. No taxes. Only down side is i ordered on thursday and gotta wait till tuesday. I'm counting the day's. I'll miss my EVO.

Welcome, I just left my EVO yesterday for the Atrix. First impressions are all positive. There is a noticable speed increase in 3G coming from Sprint.

Best Buy will match any price for cell phones if they are selling it yet, the ones here are not.

Does anyone know if you use an upgrade at somewhere other than Verizon, for example at Costco if you'll get the upgrade back if the phone is returned? I want to get something to hold me over until the next wave of 4g phones arrive (Thunderbolt) but don't know how the upgrade process works.

Thanks!
