Where Was Your GS7 Made?

In the past years, some were made in Mexico.

Are there phones still exclusively made in the USA?

Sure someone will correct if I am wrong. But thinking Motorola was the last mfg in the US & that ended a couple years ago.

My s7 black says yateley, UK on the back. I checked on google and it is a samsung facility. I live in the UK.

Final assembly was in the usa, but it was manufactured mostly abroad

My Edge (gold) purchased last week clearly states "Made in VIETNAM" (caps mine).

I would have preferred Made in Kansas, but that's not the way the world works. We do a lot of things better and cheaper than other countries, but making phones is not one of them.

Whether that continues under "Make America a Walled Fiefdom" Trump remains a big question. If he gets his way, we could be paying $500, with tax and anti-free-trade tariff, for our next phone.

Download the app "Phone Info for Samsung "it will tell you what country it was manufactured in what date and if it is new or refurbished

Mine is made in Korea. That seems fitting since Samsung is a Korean company. If I remember my Korean, it means "three star".
