Where's the power saving mode?

Not present as a user facing option. I've heard claims that it's there, but automatic. I am not sure if I believe that, but it's the rumor.

Not automatic, just plain removed on the Verizon One

Are we asking to ask or do we feel there is a need for one?
I am going on a week+ and have not seen any reason to use or want one.
I am an independent contractor and use my One as my office phone and it is constantly in use from 8 - 5.
By 10:00pm I am still at 40% or better.

I can't imagine why Verizon would remove the option. What is their motive?

I am a Sprint HTC One user, which has the constant power saving option in the notification shade. It is a rarely used option for me, but I have used it before and have been happy with the results.

But what is the ridiculous motive for Verizon to remove such an option? It makes absolutely no sense. Even if it was never used by any Verizon subscriber with a One, what's the point in removing such a small and pretty much insignificant option? What did that gain Verizon except for threads like these and people standing around scratching their heads asking the same questions I just asked lol....

Power saver does make a difference. I'll testify as to it. As far as why they'd remove it it's like asking a crazy person why they think the sky is green. Whatever answer you may get won't be adequate.

I also heard it was there in the background. Easy enough to check, run your phone down to 15% and see if it dims automatically. That's part of the power saving and an easy way to test

Some responses claim the power saver program is very small, insignificant and rarely used...?? Yet wanting to know where it went?? Really?? It appears that you may be answering your own question.

Well since it appears you are passively pointing out my post since I am the only one to have mentioned any of that, I would suggest re-reading what I wrote. It appears you may have not understood it.

I don't think anybody knows what happened and why. Tis a mystery...

another thread on this? There must be 3 or four now.
search on this forum, it has been covered. Apparently an HTC rep confirmed it is in verizon 4.2 automatically.

Regardless, my battery life is more than sufficient for all day use.
