Where's the Verizon May update?

The TE4 update for the June 2020 Android Security patch is currently rolling out for the Verizon model, SM-G98*U1, model.

The TE4 release is earlier than the TE6 update for the camera autofocus fix, Close-up zoom (Ultra only), improved fingerprint unlocking, etc; that the Global and USA models, (SM-98*U), have received.

That's the Verizon model? Looks to me like that's the changelog for US unlocked model. The firmware version and releases dates match that of the US unlocked model than Verizon carrier variant. Changelog shows May update and that was not even released for Verizon variant. This thread is about the Verizon carrier variant update and I haven't seen any Verizon variant update reported. Verizon users on US unlocked model got the ATE4/June patch yesterday but that's different.

And when Verizon variant gets updated (whenever), I totally expect it to have ATE6 firmware at the minimum just like the T-Mobile carrier variant last month had ATE6.

My bad bhatech!

Even I get confused with the locked/unlocked U.S.A. models and designations.

So, SM-G98*U models are carrier locked and SM-G98*U1 models are carrier unlocked... am I correct?

I can find no Samsung changelog for a Verizon SM-G988U model however, over on SAMMobile they do have a list of firmwares for it...

With the latest update showing as TCT with a build date of 27 March 2020 and rolled out in early April 2020...

I can see why there is outrage at the lack of updates for this model, now.

Once again, my apologies for any confusion caused. :)

I'm sure Verizon needs time to make sure all the features they stripped out of the phone are still gone. :(

I will say this about Verizon. Even though they get on my nerves the majority of the time, it was a very cool gesture for them to give so much extra data over the last couple months. It was supposedly an extra 5 or 10GB but the data usage never even registered during that time, so it was basically like having an unlimited data plan.
