Which are safe USB-C cables for the M10?

Thanks, I have several old HTC charger blocks at the house.

sitlet - you should be able to use any charger, the HTC - supplied cable meets whatever spec HTC wants it to meet.

labyrinth9 - for a straight charger, I don't believe the USB version (2.0/3.0) makes absolutely zero difference. USB 3.0 is for improved data transfer speeds.

So... was there a verdict on a good non-$20+ cable that's safe?
Had 4 chargers for old phone, (bedroom, living room, car, work). That's a lot of $ if its expensive cables.

I have a belkin and an I-orange-e both are 6 foot cables the belkin is rated for 3a the i-orange is rated for 2.4a both are charging the phone rapidly..long term safety i am not sure of. Both are on the approved usb c list by benson

I went looking for cables last night at Best Buy since they were supposed to have USB-C to USB-A cables by Belkin, and they were sold out. I ended up with a Best Buy Platinum which will be used to connect the phone to the computer only. None of the other approved cables on the list as approved were available at Best Buy last night. Oh, well, there is always Amazon or HTC itself.

Picked up the Belkin yesterday from Best Buy for 29.99. Last one my store had in stock it is of good quality and no issues so far.

I have been using an Aukey C to A cable bought at Amazon for $7.99, with an already owned HTC QC 2.0 charger to top up at the office - has been fine.

I bought the two pack of the Spigen converter for Micro to USB C to use with my other chargers. Seem to work great for fine with my many other (non-quick charge) chargers. Saves the quick charge for when you really need it and lets you use other charges for very little $. Going to get another pack soon.

The Belkin cable arrived, and now I have two confirmed good ones, and one question mark. It is a pain to replace cables. Now I just need a car charger....
