I'm looking to buy a 1750 or 1800 battery, I see batteries on ebay for less than 10 shipped. I also see batteries like the mugen brand for 30. Has anyone had experience with cheap vs expensive batteries and can give me their insight? I looked in the battery thread but was left unsatisfied.

Just got to Amazon and get the HTC Express 1800 Battery. I got 2 batteries with the wall charger for $40 and they work very well. Good deal for the price.

I just bought two 1500 batteries and a charger on eBay for 4 bucks. Don't know how well they work

I would assume most batteries would work good for the short term, but has anyone had one of the cheap 10 dollar batteries for the long term and can compare how well they hold up to a good brand battery?

I recommend the oem HTC 1500 battery. Can't go wrong with oem. You can find them for around $15. Good luck.

I have the 1500 OEM also and the complaint everyone has is that the battery door wont fully close cause its slightly bigger. The HTCexpress is so cheap for 20 for a 1800. If it does after 6 months get another its not like they crap out after a month

I bought the same batteries and took a log of how long each battery (both 1800's and the standard battery) could hold a charge. Note, this was using a standard Dinc without any custom roms or kernels. The 1800 HTC Express batteries averaged 16 hours to 17 hours over 10 charges and the standard battery averaged 18 hours of 10 charges.

Since I rooted my phone, I have not recorded battery stats, but I have been getting at least 24 hours out of each battery. Right now I am at 30.5 hours with 14% left on one of my 1800's

Look I am just a newbie compared to you all, but...

I just bought a $6 supposed OEM battery from Ebay that is 1800. All I know is that since I installed Juice Defender a few weeks ago I was down to 60% at 9pm off of my stock battery and today on my second day I was at about 42% on my Ebay battery. It's only been 2 days since having it so I can't guarantee anything except those facts...and that Juice Defender saved me either way, lol.

Don't worry this is not an ad for them, lol

I have two 1800 mAH and the wall charger got them from HTC Express for 39.99 I am getting a 16 hour day on one battery charge. On the stock battery I was using the charger 2 to 3 times a day.

That's good information. All that really matters to me is that the battery can get me through the day without having to plug it up no matter how I use it. I realize not all situations can be avoided.
