Hello all,
so I got the wife a GNx and I need to upgrade her battery. I got the seido for myself are there any other good choices, does the VZ 2100 work well?

Thanks!
Xanth

I use it and it works well, Im just assuming your wife wouldn't want a huge bulge on the back of her phone , the 2100mah looks near stock and fits in most tpu cases , or you could get an external power pack off amazon

The 2100 mah gives you just enough to make it through the day with significant use, certainly so if you're not playing with it all the time. Mileage tends to vary with individual users on battery questions. A 3800 mah battery certainly will last you, but case options are limited.

Personally the huge bulging non flush backing on some of these extended batteries just makes the phone completely hideous.

I bought the 2100 Samsung so called "extended" battery and heavy use will only get me 8-9 hours. Light use, 24 hours. Moderate use, 12-15 hours.

I do not use Wifi so that's off, GPS is on along with data/sync. The biggest culprit is ALWAYS the screen. Most significant thing you can do is regulate the brightness.

I hear that on the case issues, even the 2100 has issues with cases being rare. I went out and bought a Seidio specifically for the 2100 mah battery and it fits like a glove and is not too bulky.

That's what I'm using too. The problem I have with it is that removing it tends to loosen the fit, especially at the bottom of the case. If you don't take it off frequently, or if you're careful when you do, it's great. And really, it's the only case I've found to specifically fit the 2100 mah battery.

I'm going with the 3800mAh NFC monster(the Siedio) but not from here, I found it a bit cheaper at another reputable place online. I dont concern about looks, I concern with how long I can go.
I swear those puns are un-intentional.

I'm using the 2100 mAH one (with my Sprint GNex). Honestly I don't see much of a difference, but I'm a pretty heavy user. The 2100 mAH battery is 14 percent bigger than the stock battery, so take whatever you average battery life is and multiply it by 1.14. It will give you an idea of how long it should last.
