Which browser is better? HTC Default or Chrome?

I enjoy the Chrome Beta ... Lot's of updates and is faster than the current version of Chrome on the play store.

I prefer the stock browser that comes with Sense, however I do find myself using Chrome fairly often since it syncs my bookmarks across all my devices.

I've been using firefox recently on mobile, and I've really been enjoying it. In fact, I'm considering giving it another try on the desktop too instead of chrome.

I agree, Chrome was just too blah. Stock works way better for me!

I've only had my HTC One for a week, so im still trying to decide, but I use chrome...

On another note, am I the only one not able to use the Swype feature in the chrome address bar?

Chrome wouldn't let me use the HTC 'trace to type' (aka Swype) keyboard on the address bar, so I use Default.

After using Chrome on my laptop for years, I finally uninstalled it. Chrome was slowing down everything, and after a few crashes and a "shockwave crash" event, I started Googling around for solutions. When I Googled "Chrome sucks", I got a lot of hits from a lot of unhappy folks about how bad Chrome had become lately. One hit, on Google products forum, was typical fingerpointing by those trying to defend Chrome that something else must be wrong with the complainers' computers. But the evidence is overwhelming that Google has screwed up Chrome and there is no fix on the horizon. I uninstalled Chrome, back to IE, and my computer is back up to speedy access of websites. So I disabled Chrome on my HTC One and using the native browser there.

I was using Chrome but after reading this thread thought I would try out the HTC Internet. So far so good, but then again I don't browse the net on my phone much as there are apps to do most of the things I do anyway.

I've tried all the browsers listed above. I use Opera on my laptop and Firefox for the stuff that don't like Opera. However I don't like them on my phone. I had settled on the stock browser and then I read a Drippler article about Mercury browser. It's been on IOS for awhile and now it's on Android. So far I'm loving it. Especially the built-in ad blocker and the Opera-like speed dial.

i use chrome because it syncs with my devices and it gets updated far more often than the stock browser with new features, etc.

Dolphin with lastpass. When chrome starts supporting plug-ins I'll use it.

I use Maxthon, Mobile and desktop. Works great. I can cloud push pages to phone or phone to desktop. Tried Dolphin, but it would not display NWS.com radar images (flash page)

I prefer the stock one since it has quick control, providing better experience on a large screen, though the speed is not as fast as Chrome

Chrome is my daily use browser with boat as my backup... Might switch to boat daily though ui is just more practical

I have tried stock, Dolphin, U.C., Maxthon, Opera, and a few others, I'd love to use Firefox, however it always lags bad for me no matter what phone I am on. So now I stick with Chrome beta and am happy with it.
