Which car charger would be better for the GS3?

I will be using the OEM one on Shop Android on this site. Prefer OEM to avoid explosive situations.

The first one should work. The second one is mini-usb, so it won't fit. The S3 takes a micro-usb like most smartphones.

Right, I didn't look carefully.

I have this one for my Droid and it stopped charging my cell phone. There's an issue with the connector end. Wouldn't recommend it.

Mine got flaky after about a year. Only charges at just the right angle now. It is however fast, and quite cheap if you have a prime account. I bought a new one to go with my S3.

Does anyone know where I could find a longer car charger? I had the car charger shown above in the link which I used when I traveled for work and was using in rental cars, and some cars I needed a longer cable.

So with the GS3, as long as the connector fits into the phone it is OK to charge with it?

I know back in the day we used to have to worry about power ratings (amps/volts) and how they might damage electronics but most people I talk to these days say that doesn't matter as the phones are smart enough to adapt as long as the connector fits...

Just curious... will the car chargers I currently have for an OG Droid work for the S3's? If so it'll save me a few bucks.

I plan on using the generic Verizon branded micro usb charger I've been using. The one that has a USB port on it as well.

Anybody have any problems with these on more powerful phones?
